Adding Weight
im currently around 5"7 and weigh 9 1/2 stone, i eat fairly healthy, but have been drinking full fat milk, having alot of rice, pastas, chicken, steaks, and when it comes to snacks its usually fruit and lots of water maybe 6/7 pints a day.
i know some of this is good for me but id like to put on more weight, currently im just getting fit so im doing light excercise/dumbells. |

If you eat as much as you say you do.. Then the weight will come along.
If it doesn't try some weight gainer ontop of your daily intake? I was a 11.5 stone 6 ft 3 weed. 2 years later, with weight gain.. I reached 14st 5. So it works. |
Sorry yes, my question was, is this a good way to put on weight and what can i add thats easy to cook and will add more gains,
what product is worth buying from holland and barrett for weight gain ? bearing in mind i will be keeping fit in doing so, so im not looking to get fat lol. |

Got to remember the most important times to eat. If your just pouching at any time, times that your body doesnt need calories, its just going to store it as fat. Biggest meals should be breakfast and post workout.
Try 200g oats, 50g whey, tablespoon of peanut butter and a banana for breakfast. Use fine oats in a shake, if you cooked that amount I dont think you could eat it. Then postworkout I like to have 200g white rice and 200g chicken. Then have another 100g oats, 30g whey in a shake. |
I can manage 100g of cooked oats, 200g would kill me I think! Definitely need to take them in a shake lol

Just up your calories, but if you're using light weights and just into fitness then the weight you gain will be fat.
Take a look at joe defranco's westside for skinny bastards programme and then add a jar off peanut butter a day into your diet. Too many carbs all day leads to insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes. |
