Knocking noise :(

I own a 1.4 Furio. Every time I Pull away, Turn a corner I get a knocking noise of the offside.
Also the steering seems to be pulling slightly and shakes when I do pull away and when Im driving in a straight line its shaking on the steering wheel. :n:

It doesnt really bother me too much, but just a pain when i drive past people and they stare.

Any ideas what it can be, im not mechanic so i have no idea. But some of my friends say it can be the cv joint. But also they are no mechanics so i need help!

Cheers Guys :)

could be a cv joint driveshaft etc, just what ive read on here tbh

Knocking while turning is likely the driveshaft mate.

Agree with the driveshaft idea. Saxos seem to be pretty bad for them going?

but it if the drive shaft would the knocking noise be when i turn both ways? because its mainly when i turn right.
How much would a new drive shaft set me back?

My driveshaft was knackered a few months back and only knocked when I turned left so could be.

Can get them new for £30-£50 plus fitting unless you can do yourself.
