Barry123 25th August 2012 21:17

Very sad. The top of the greatest achievement in mankind (except for my post count) and yet completely down to earth (no-pun intended). Easily the greatest human to grace the planet.

I remember a report about him having an op recently. Hope it wasn't related or something.

Certainly one of the most memorable but what about the likes of the team that got him there, or the guy that wrote his "one small step" speech, or Buzz Lightyear?

RIP uncle Neil...

There isn't wind; the flag has mesh sewn into the fabric to give rigidity so it stuck out, otherwise the flag would have hung there limp and no one would have known it was an American flag.

RIP Neil.

Why would they 'pretend to go'?

If NASA was lying the Russians would have sent men up to prove it.This would have been a massive coup for cold war propaganda, but they didn't which means they did land on the moon.
