Any track/fast road use get the better group N set.

Have you tried the ones in the top link though?

How do you know they aren't the same in strength ?

wadoryu 31st December 2012 12:48

To be fair, they look pretty much the same to me.
But being sold by constella, they'll now explain the differences.

i know they arent the same in strength as i have tested them. Thus the budget ones are designed for standard 1.0/1.1 cars

The Group N feature an uprated body as well as ends, the budgets just have uprated ends.

Not trying to be a dick- but how did you test there strength...

I'm willing to bet the ones in op's link are better than standard brand new and there a good price!

Aly 1st January 2013 13:45

Ive only got a diesel and mine are fucked so I think ill just get them at the top. My car doesnt deserve £40 linkages lol

They are better than standard, but still only a budget item.

And we test them untill we can get them to break lol (basically attach them to my car and send rob off out in it for a bit lol)

AlexB 2nd January 2013 10:54

ive used ones like in the above link
i bent the fuck outa them
got the constella ones to fit (waiting till my box is back from the builders) they are a much better construction than those tbh

Think I'll go with the decent one haha, don't want to change gear and they bend or fall to bits, I've got one of them quick shift things to go on too so hope tighten it up a bit :)

They are the group N ones so yes. They were recently a group buy on here so there are lots of members who can vouch for them too :)

Gandi699 4th January 2013 10:22

How much of a difference do these make ? I'm having quite a bit of trouble with my gear chances especially when I'm comin down the gears quite hard to get into the gear

Bim 6th January 2013 19:33

That looks like paintet threaded rod or som rubber on-top?

I made my own from threaded rods, looks exactly like these, as threaded rod are pretty easy to bend, they are not that strong, if you shift fast or press in the gears, they could bent easily.

But as my original where havin play and where very loose i made these.

Cost me about 70-80SEK ( about 5-7£)
