Citroen Saxo VTR progress

Hi guys Im Kev from Ireland!

Recently i came over to the UK to meet a lad Called Curtis (u/n curt) about his Black Saxo VTR :D

He is a member on here and his progress thread can be found Here (Clickyy)

He Left Curtis Like this at his house in Torquay a 680 mile round trip from Ireland!

Curtis nearly cried!

when he got back to Ireland he needed a few things doing.

the axle was ruined so a new one was fitted so he looked like this

then a clutch and gear box changed was needed!
a 1.4 box was put on joe in a previous life and when the gearbox was fitted the wrong shafts were put in which caused all sorts of problems.

the remains of the old f**ked gearbox

Well i know the engine is good as it pulled quite well at the dyno curtis did :D

^^ the picture that sold me the car :D

then i decided to polish up his tip abit!

SHINEY BITS :D

the next mod was LED dials sat there for two hours soldering them in :D

new door cards and chrome lock pins

citreon sport fuel cap
and gear knob n citroen sport pedals :D

And how Joe Stands now :D

curtis says im not allowed to change the name so hes still called joe!

He might be attending FCS 13 this year so i may see you all there! i have some plans that will be announced in the next couple of days so watch this space :D

Little joe out side work :D

well thats all guys i hope you like feel free to comment!

From Kev!

ive sorted a few things and painted a few things :D

The calipers are now green to go with the green sticker on the side and i think they will go well with the pro race 1.2's that i'm swaying towards but i haven't decided yet :D

Joe is still in pieces on axle stands in the shed poor boy! So here are some pictures from today!

Do you have prices for 4 new nuts for the droplinks? or a part number

saxoboi85 16th January 2013 15:24

Well drop links are price at €43 each part number 5087.40

And the nuts are €2 each part number 6939.77

Best just to get two new drop links as they come with bolts auto factors would be cheaper

You can get nuts to fit from any place that sells nuts and bolts as there only a 19mm with a nylon locker on it try BnQ or halfords

saxoboi85 19th January 2013 17:53
