battery/alternator Help
 
was in the car yday parked up . left the light on for say a hour when engine wasmt runnning.after that car would not start so got sone jump leads and it started fine. as im driving down the road the lights went out and car jus died on me. ?? any ideas

check fuel line, battery terminals(clean them or replace them if need be), check battery +alternator output. should read 12.5ishV , should b 14+V when running, nothing on.

if you pass that, turn everything on in th car while its on. should read at least 13.5V i think. anything .3 off that, prob time for new alternator

the cars runing all goi now checked the battery and the terminal( i think thas wat it is ) lol was not on tidy ( im a bit ov a noob lol) anyway cheers for the advice
