mk1 saxo westcoast mangooo soon to be 16v'd!

hi all this is probably my zillionth and final saxo now as ive had way to many over the years so ive decided to spend alot of time on this one..

bought it last week very cheap for the condition and spec of the car so thats a great start already, only covered 87k miles genuine and rot free! bodyworks very clean bar the occasional little shopping trolley dink in the front wings.

since ive owned it i have gave it an oil change new rocker cover gasket lower engine mount and drivers driveshaft

current spec:
cream full leather 106gti interior
spax shocks and springs (60mm) rear lowered around 70mm
black vts alloys
mk2 rear lights
angel eye headlights (probably fitting standard lights back in)
full powerflow cat back system and decat (stainless)
basic induction kit
battery relocated to boot
dewipered
tinted rear window and sunroof glass

im planning on doing a vts conversion on it very soon so first up im upgrading the brakes polybushed lower engine mount and front bushes and an upper strut brace along with a general tidy up in and around the car so bare with me lol

pic heavy update mango westcoast project

unfortunatly i hit a pothole the other week so ive had to spend more time and money repairing that along with the snow ripping off one of my arches and my side repeator wire so the little saxo was in a right state!

ive spent a good few hours getting her back up to scratch now including:

.Refitted nearside front arch
.over hauled drivers front strut
.removed and refitted exhaust system to stop it knocking on chassis
.quickly rust treated rear arches and boot floor
.checked all bearings bushes mounts brakes etc
.fitted smoked indicators short aeriel and aero wiper blades
.rewired pass side indicator and washer bottle pump
.made my own induction kit for less heatsoak and better airflow
.general tidy up of the engine bay
.refitted angel eyes so there both level
.good clean and a polish

pics up to date:

still to do before mot:
.get horn working
.pass side foglight connection
.adjust handbrake

The fact it's a mk1 in that condition makes me happy.

The fact it's Mango makes me cry with jealousy! Keep her mint dude she's fucking awesome :) definitely fit standard headlights though, tinted ones like mine would look cool
