(Fresh Sax) josh's flat arch

Right been on here a while now thought I'd start a thread as I'm constantly changing this car and playing with ideas might be interesting for some, it started as a bog standard 1.1 Y reg desire in quartz silver 70,000 miles on the clock not the best condition but by far not the worst and for £500 I couldn't complain it was what I wanted and was close to where I live, I have no pictures from standard to how it looks now so my thread will be from what it is as I speak now.

To start this car is always super clean I am mega OCD and i clean this car every week without fail I've even been known to go out once it has rained and dry the car no idea why that's who I am lol.

Mods/changes to car
Full plastic door cards instead of boring half cloth
Aftermarket gear knob
Sony headunit
Fli door speakers
De-badged mesh front grill
VTR wheels that I am in the process of getting refurbed
Trs tow strap
Bee sting ariel
T-cut badges
Painted calipers
Sportex 3" backbox
Custom mg ZR exhaust heat shield
Cone filter induction kit
.

They're we go I do not have many photos as of yet but like I said things are constantly changing and I will update regularly.

Yeah i wasn't tailgating you we were trying to get there as quick as I could, from preston to trax I was virtually flooring it the whole way, used half a tank which is about 30mpg in my diesel lol

Should turbo it really :homme::p

Once you lower yours will look sick

FreshSax 11th September 2013 19:31

Lol we were the same wanted to get there before the mahoosove ques start and everyone is standstill for an hour, turbo that's what i like to hear ;) and yeah I do want It lowered, it will at some point but I want new wheels before it gets lowered and as Christmas is approaching money for rims is bottom of my list :(

Thats how I recognised it on at trax :s

Looks good, but I think your alternator belt needs tightening.

FreshSax 11th September 2013 20:16

Haha already done it guys, it was fine all the way to silverstone until I thought it would be a great idea to thrash it through the tunel got out the other side and that was it, belt was as a loose as anything when I got home that night

FreshSax 18th September 2013 21:02

Update: been mega busy with work etc at the min so progress is slow but I bought some morette lights of a mate last night bit unsure at minute mabye they'll grow on me , not the best photo will get a better one tomorrow in the daylight

jones91 19th September 2013 22:40

Don't suppose they're the morrettes Carl Griffiths had for sale are they lol?

Car looks nice at Trax though mate :) Defo needs lowering though I'd say tbh :y:

FreshSax 20th September 2013 06:21

Yeah they are mate, and yeah It does need to be lower I do plan on lowering it I want new wheels first though:)

FreshSax 28th September 2013 20:44

Bought a cheap cold air feed kit of ebay just for styling really was a bastard to fit as I ordered the trumpet to small but made a custom bracket out of polypropylene and it sits flush now, it definatly has made a small difference as I have an open cone induction kit

Also de-whispered the rear in the week will get some better photos up tomorrow :)
Just looking for the right wheels now and then it will be lowered...

FreshSax 29th September 2013 13:27
