The XBO or PS4?

I fancy treating myself to a new fancy gaming console to woo the ladies with.

This might sound like a proper nooby question, but which one seems to be better?

Nintendo were quick to replace the Wii U then?

I'd prob say it's too early to get it unless you want to play a specific game. As everyone knows there are a handful of games launched but too early for the must have games.

Stevie is pretty much spot on. There just isn't enough games out at the minute for the new consoles.

Personally i'd go with what ever console my mates play (which i picked xbone)

Yep, main reason i picked the xbox was i already have a live account, the controller in my opinion is nicer to hold and use, and all my mates have them..

I'd stick with which ever previous console manufacturer you were with.. Been an xbox fan, i find the controller much nicer, but some playstation players say theirs is the better, probably just what you are most used to!

Swear you were all for keeping the X360 and waiting for a while? Next day you had a One lol!

I was like that then I got carried away when my friend asked me to go with him to try and get a One.

Really though there's not much point getting a next gen console yet limited games and apps and obviously not at it's full potential yet and wont be for a while.

That said I've loved Forza and Dead Rising and enjoying the console as a whole so far

I've got about 100 games for my 360, some of which I haven't even played yet so I'm not swapping just yet!

potential issues such as YLOD or RROD have not been established yet. And there aren't that many games let alone good ones.

Some of the xbone games have no resale value (the forza game on the xbone above disappears if you change the gamer profile), while you pay extra for things such as a kinect you don't need, or the ability to watch TV on your TV.

I don't really care about what console, what matters is what games are on it.

I agree with the lack of games at the minute. There is a small choice at the minute but so far, there's enough to get me by.

I know some people see the camera as pointless but it really isn't. You WILL find yourself using the voice commands and you'll find yourself using sky/virgin/TV controllers a lot less. Commands like volume up, watch TV and even playing games. The only thing we use our remote controls for is changing channel. And even that won't be needed with an update. Lauren isn't bothered about that kind of stuff but even she uses the voice commands instead.
