I havent really got any inbetween pics but it's had some bits done so far
Suspension sorted Stripped out interior (plus anything else thats not needed eg fogs, arch liners etc) Lexan windows Bucket seat and harness Decat and exhaust Rallye wheels Strut braces Quick shift and gear linkages Manual steering conversion And other stuff I cant think of right now lol Well this is how it stood a couple of days before the 1st trackday ![]() |
Here it is being used in anger at Bedford on the 18th.
The car ran perfect all day, it loves to rev. I did learn a couple of lessons though, my tyres were cack and the brakes were toast by the end of the day lol ![]() |
Looks good, any plans to squeeze some more BHP out of it?

tires really so make a huge difference.
How did you find the brake bias? was this locking its arse up first? |

It probably helps that it's got cheap and nasty rear pads in it lol. I did reset the load sensing valve so that might have worked in my favour |

I started on my rallye steelies but they were hopeless but they are all budget tyres. The VTR alloys have kumhos on I think and they were a bit better. They're all surplus now coz I've gone for gti-6 calipers and 15" wheels |
