Current Goals / Progress

With summer fast approaching no doubt a few of us are currently progressing towards goals set.

What's everyone currently striving towards or achieved soo far this year??

This section is dying we need to re-assemble!!

Giraffe 7th May 2014 11:13

Eat shit food, as much as possible.

Achieving my goals admirably.

I'm debating doing a routine of nothing but loaded carries... Just got nowhere to do them really.

L33h 7th May 2014 11:20

Nothing atm. Working away down london again for a few month

SimpleJoee 7th May 2014 12:17

Started jumping into my cutting phase now, already feel like drowning myself.

Dropped majority of my carbs, no more bread/pasta (still keeping da rice).
Meals normally consist of:

Breaky - 5 Egg whites, 40g Protein shake, Banananana + an apple if it's there
Break before lunch - Tuna + Sweet corn (not sure on grams etc)
Lunch - 400(or so)g Chicken Breast with 2 Cups of brown rice + 1 cup of green beans
Afternoon Break - 40g Protein shake + Portion of grapes
Tea times - 400(or so)g Chicken Breast with 2 Cups of brown rice + 1 cup of broccoli
Post gym (8/9ish) - 40g Protein shake + another bananana

I'll stick to this diet plan near enough, mainly because I'm not a big fan of fish (other than tuna), and lean beef etc aren't too cheap compared to Chicken Breast!

Not gym related but my goal for summer is to climb ben Nevis and complete the Glas Maol circuit.

Will be quite an achievement for me in the heat.

Your eating too much protein for breakfast mate, you only need between 40 - 45 so any extra is going to waste i.e. wieight gain

Never really though about breakfast too much like that if I'm honest!
Probably just switch it up to one scoop instead of two for the proteins then :y:
Just habit because when I wasn't eating egg whites I'd do the same

Looking to cut down big time now, drop the water and tighten up etc

Giraffe 7th May 2014 12:35

Why not just forget the shake and keep the yolks?

I could easily stick with Chicken + Broccoli, genuinely love the stuff!
Can't eat it dry though, always gotta have me a bit of Jack D' Sauce ;)

Yolk's are very good as there a source of good fat.

Can be ideal for cutting as you can use high good fat's before bed.

I'll quit cold turkey when I'm closer to Summer again, but for this time of year I just try to cut the majority down :boxing:
