Awkward eBay buyer
To cut a long story short I sold an iPhone on eBay, fully described the phone and mentioned that it had marks on the phone.
The buyer received the phone today and asked for a partial refund due to a 'dent on the top of the phone'. Even though I had described that there was some marks on the phone. I gave him a partial refund of £10 as a good will gesture. Now he is saying that he may contact me tomorrow and send the phone back along with all the money. Am I within my rights to stick two fingers up and walk away, especially considering this hole transaction was done outside ebay and the monies was sent 'to a friend' via paypal. |
Depends how good your description wss I guess...
On ebay, did you say that you accepted returns? |
Outside of eBay, by friend. Fuck him unless you have a nervous conscious.

The description mentioned marks on the phone side, he is claiming a small 'dent' of which he has sent a picture to me, in all honestly its so small I didn't even notice it, but I sent him the £10 as a good gesture.
The add did state that I accept returns. |

If he bought it outside of eBay and he paid by friend then I'd just leave it personally.

Wasn't sold through eBay, was advertised on eBay.
|
So you saved on ebay fees and were prepared to accept returns anyway? What's the problem if you were already willing?
|
fuck him
