cone filters
 

i know this will probably have been asked before but i got a cone filter for my car and oil breather and have fitted them like this , my question is if this is right what do i do with the original oil breather ?

I have realised the pictures are a bit mucked up

lol thats sucking in unfiltered air

doesn't go to the engine but , does it ?

yeah it does, where do you think the vapours from the inlet go?

Nice hot engine bay air.

Total waste of time!

You WILL lose power with that set up!!

If you insist on keeping it like that you need a shroud around the filter and some form of cold air ducting to it from the front of the car

Its a 1.1 and thought meh no point trying to vent it away from the engine

much heat soak wow loud

so why damage what little performance it has even more? Just leave it standard

I am paying for it on the insurance so that is the only reason I have it :P

Anyway thanks for the advice guys took the whole of 30 seconds to fix
