3 Plug - VTS Ecu unlocking with a running doner.
 

Hi,

I have tried the search function but without much luck as there is a lot of conflicting information.

I have a 2001 Saxo VTS MK2, a running doner car that has a 3 Plug ecu.

I am doing a Peugeot 205 engine conversion and will be removing engine and loom over the next week or so.

My question is, as I have a running car am I able to start the car and remove the black immobilizer box from under the dash to unlock the ecu?

I am just looking for a definitive answer, from people that have done this, transferred an engine and then had no issues.
