mk1 VTS and VTR lambda sensor
 

The plugs are different (different layout of plastic lugs inside) but are the sensors different themselves internally?

When you compare them they look different, not sure if this is a design change and would work the same.

cant really remember if the sensor itself looks different but I know the plastic lugs dont line up with the loom plug so a vtr one wont fit. Im just wondering if the sensor could be spliced if its not going to give different readings compared to a vtr
