My trackday Saxo
 

Thought I'd post up with a mention of my trackday Saxo. It's a beast! (Sadly it doesn't get driven any more but that's another story).

Completely track prepped, throttle bodies and turbo, screamer pipe, 240bhp, stripped, cage, big brakes, the lot. I call it "mine" but to be fair I bought it from a guy who'd done all the work! and just did a bit of mapping to finesse it. Quite possibly someone here has seen it before or knows the chap who put it together.







I used it for a few trackdays, had a great time, got some really positive feedback from the track instructors at Brands Hatch about the quality and capabilities of the car. Also got a great photo heading up towards Druids at Brands with a Lambo and an RS6 behind :)



Maybe one day it will come out of hibernation... who knows.

Hopefully time attack 2016 :p

Would love to, but I'm working in the wrong country for that to happen this year :(

Again, "blame the guy who built it" :) but it goes well and sounds pretty mean too!

What you giving for it just out of curiosity?
I think i saw a post before about a vts you were going to buy, blue one private plate in brighton?
If so i was the douche that bought it from under you as i was only down the road, its a heap to say the least. This one looks much better!

I've got it for a good price, but it does need some work doing to it as it's been stood for a little while unfortunately. Couple of plans made already, it's coming back to mine to be cleaned up and checked over with a service, then it's being sent over to have some rolling road time, get some up to date figures and see where we are. :P

There were a few I had my eyes on and for what ever reason, they kept falling through, that's why I haven't said anything until now and everything is definite. I felt like a but of a plonker posting up "getting this if all goes weel" and then falls through :wall:

Looks clean enough to be fair!
Will keep an eye out for a thread on it :)

Unfortunately it's not that clean anymore... It's been left standing for a while so needs some work to get it back in that condition, but it does start
