NOT drilling jp4 head

Soooo

I read on an old thread that it is possible to drill out the existing j4 manifold holes thus removing the need to drill into the jp4 head.

1. Is this true?
2. How does the manifold stay secure with no bolts to hold it in on the top half
3. Further to point 2, would it not blow between the head and manifold, making it an absolute no no for a turbo build?

Only reason I ask is I'm not comfortable drilling the holes myself as I've read some stories of it going horribly wrong so would prefer this method if reliable!
A manifold will be cheaper than a new head, and being I've got a jp4s I don't really want to fuck it up. I do have someone will drill it for me, but even so it's not guaranteed it won't go wrong.

Thanks in advance

Yes yes of course drilling it out is the proper way to do it I understand this, I just need to get it running and off the driveway ASAP!

Much cheaper to buy a new manifold than a head, and as I say people have gone wrong despite drilling in the correct place and knowing to go no deeper than 18mm.

Even if I gave it to an engineer I would be worried about it going wrong!!!

j4 manifold is plastic and no extra material around the metal inserts, so can't imagine how you would bodge it onto the JP studs.
