Sagging door card material - HELP REQUIRED

Hi all,

The material on the front door cards is a little flappy/come away from the card itself. It's still very neat, but not stuck as it once would have been.

Does anyone know to fix this?

Thanks in advance
Nick

No one have any ideas?

You would have ti pick it off and re-glue it.

Is that actually possible?

Is their a guide anywhere? I saw a guide about re-trimming the cards but they were going over the top of the original material.

TIA

Nick

If it went on, technically it can come off. I've a feeling any plastic trim it goes under is "plastic" melted like a rivet so it won't come off.

I've a feeling that you'll probably damage it trying to remove it. Either cut it off and re-trim the card or put up with it :)

That’s the same conclusion I came to after viewing the door card re-trimming thread. Good work mate. And thanks.

Personally i would just replace the whole door card, they're usually pretty easy to come by

Currently on the lookout (eBay/Gumtree/Facebook) and can't seem to find any!

I've actually solved this.

If you remove the pocket on the door near the door handle, the one you use to close the door when you're in, you can carefully prise the material and foam backing from the door itself. I've the sprayed some 3M material adhesive between the foam backing and the material, pressed firmly in place, and allow to set.

Sorted.
