Battery light always on (alternator charging)

Hey all

One minor issue. The battery light is permanently on, however the car is otherwise fine. Voltages okay, engine turns over okay etc

Any suggestions as to how to rectify it?

Is it a mk1 or mk2 saxo mate? Mk1's used a ring connector so it's worth checking the connections & may be cleaning them up.

Thanks for the tip, it's a MK2 sadly.

Voltage out of the alternator is fine 14 V if I remember correctly. So I'm stumped on this.

Gonna need to look at the wiring diagrams next I guess :wacko:
