VTR build thread
 

Decided I might as well start a build thread to actually document my VTR build. You'll all have to excuse the badly formatted posts etc been a long time since I've posted on a forum, I'd forgotten how good this one was and the wealth of information on here as been about 8 years since I last had a saxo.

I've owned / modded a number of cars and decided at the start of lockdown that it was finally time for a cheap project car so naturally bought one sight unseen off a lad on Facebook and got it trailered to mine. Fortunately went well and didn't get ripped off.

So this is how it arrived pretty much although with all VTR wheels



Allegedly a rebuilt rear axle, replacement box and clutch and recent service. Although the only 'history' was a receipt for a wheel bearing. That said it drove well

Also, I was thinking of making a thread for my 'build'. I'm different to you in that I've never really a modded a car. I have a VTR and it's the first car I've owned, all I've done is basic maintenance (oil change, air filter spark plugs etc). I was thinking of making my own build thread over summer. And by build I just mean a few basic tweaks here and there, just TLC and returning it back to its former glory because there's so much annoying shit that doesn't work on it lol.
