Idiot Garage Ruined Sunroof
 

Long story short - I asked the garage to fix the leak in my sunroof a few years back. They put sealant inbetween the glass and the plastic trim of the sunroof. I was young at the time and didn't challenge on this which I regret but that's another story.

I'm going to buy another sunroof online and refit. But is there any way of removing the sunroof without opening it? My understanding is it comes out as one unit, but from the guides I quickly scanned they all seemed to open the sunroof first to access any bolts. Any tips or is this something i should leave ot a (different) professional to sort for me?
