Hey ppl, looking for some HELP!!
My mate has a saxo 1.1 mk1, i have a 1.0 mk2, we wer pissin about tother nite we both had no problems gettin in2 each others cars with our own keys. He couldn't start my car with his keys but he told me the immobiliser code to his n i started his car with no problems n drove off down the lane!!

Was wonderin if this happens with every saxo and is a known fact???...........definately de-locking mine!!!

SNewham 18th September 2006 00:07

surely, that's illegal on shitroens part. Phone them up and ask them about it.

Curran 18th September 2006 00:16

hopefull they will call back all saxo's and give them keyless entry for free.

seriously though, make sure you tell citroen about it. they will have to do something about it.

pretty worrying, i recall about 7 years ago or so my nan opening the door and getting in this silver cavalier. (she had same) was well strange!

Saxo-Slag 18th September 2006 11:03

Think it might just be a one in a million thing. My gf saxo and my dont do it

barrett 18th September 2006 11:11

there are only so many combinations of keys, and there is only a small chance of being able to find matching cars. Hence why they are all installed with an imobiliser of some description. Yours is in your key hence why he couldnt start the ignition

MAS 18th September 2006 11:45

mate i had a saxo vtr and now i have a desire but when i realised one day that i left the vtrs keys inside car i used my desire key to get into it without breaking the window or busting the lock

jonesyFX 18th September 2006 12:14

my key fits my mates petrol cap, i havent tried his door, i'll get back on that :P

Robbo 19th September 2006 18:09
