'KOLeen' Goodbye Sweetheart

Ok so i went on a mission in March to find a new car as the mini 1.3i cooper's project hadn't got off and running due to repairs! With this in mind i wanted something i could run without fears of breaking down or not starting! I was looking for a honda civic v-tec but couldn't find a decent mileage one in my price range!
Then one day a sweet looking saxo vtr went past me, it might have been the girl driving it but i thought 'I HAVE GOT TO GET ME ONE OF THESE!
So for the next week or 2 i searched the web looking for a saxo vtr or vts, i wasn't going to have anything less than a 1.6 as the mini was a 1.3 and it was nippy! Especially in the winter! :homme:
One day me and my dad went driving round the west Midlands to look at 4 saxos we had picked out!
First one was a vtr possi blue 64k 2,795 Test drove it seemed good! liked the power! But we went to have a look at another few! One seemed abandonded in a road by a garage! Another the bloke said he had such a good month he wasnt going to lower the price (wtf) :gives:
By this time i had decided I wanted the first one! :P So we drove back to tamworth and said we wanted it! He offered 750 for the mini but i knew i could get more so we said we would just buy this and sell the mini seperately!
The saxo had to be MOT'd and it was about 4ish so we sat in the office waiting for the MOT to be done! Mechanic came round said the brake's had failed the MOT so we couldn't get it then!
Went home right p'd off but they had said it would be done on the Monday! Just had to get back up there! Luckily my dad had the day off so on the monday off we went to get it! They could have at least washed it properly but i knew i could do a better job once i got home! So we handed over the money and i had the first drive in my new car on the motorway!

:bored: So that was March and i gave it a clean and had bought a sunstrip from a place by me (Cheap and made a difference! Coming off soon)

I was set to go for a while anyways until i had paid back what i owed! It came to August and i was on the internet when i came accross Saxperience.com! So i signed up and found out about trax2006! Sounded good so i sent off for the ticket and show stand! But car's arse was in the air it had to be changed before i went! So after searching round a few garages i found a place that did it for 82 quid and got it sorted!

So went down to trax and looked at what other people had done to there cars! so decided mine would be a project! First i did when i got back was change the grille!

Which brings us up to this weekend! I smoked the fog lights last week after I ordered black angel eye headlights start of the month and they came on friday! Fitted them friday! Just gotta do the grille now as it looks a bit wonky!

What do you think so far??

Next on the list is either tinits or colour coding! Probably getting colour coding as i had it photo shopped and it looks amazing!

Then:
sort some euro style wheels out,
exhaust!
Lose the spoiler and rear wiper (After winter tho!! RAIN NOT GOOD)
New suspension
Engine mods, tidy engine bay!

Eddyb 15th October 2006 15:35

it makes a lot of difference to the look when you body code it, as you can see in you picture
