Recently fished my turbo conversion off, all sorted now apart from needs fine tuning on a rollin road which will be done in the near future. The car is completly different to drive, never would have thought it would make this much differnce. really impressed. Also a set of piccies were taken for a mag so look out for it in the very close future hehe :) enjoy:P :clapping:

After Turbo on mine next year.

ets2k9 1st November 2006 20:08

What brakes do you have they dont look that hefty for a turbo?

JAMESVTS 1st November 2006 20:10

they were std on the shoot, but have gti6 ones goin on now until get me hands on some 4 pots.

ets2k9 1st November 2006 20:16

I thought you were a brave man running std brakes.

I really like everything about it nice and subtle no stupid kits or big wheels, the only thing I'd change is the rear lights.

I dont suppose you care about rear lights so when you have a turbo.

Who did the conversion?

Sorry for all the Q's I'm just intersted I mean you no harm.

JAMESVTS 1st November 2006 20:20

lol, im still unsure weather to change the rears back to std?

the noise, torque and speed makes up for it lol

I did most of it myself but had help from the guys at www.epmotorsport.com, who built the mani and exhaust system as a custom prototype jobby :)

ets2k9 1st November 2006 20:25

I'd leave them if you've gone to trouble of changing them.

You cant be a bit of DIY are you going to become the resident turbo expert then?

I've just thought of another question :) what ecu/management are you using?

Its probably easier to just right a big essay for me :) and I'm blaming you if I fail my uni course as this is far more interesting then inserting tables into web pages.

I love it mate, the way to an untrained eye it is a saxo. Then you spot the inter cooler, the air filter and is it an oil cooler at the other fog hole?

Loverly!

saxoash 1st November 2006 20:28

manifold welds could have been a buit neater.

Lovley car tho, very clean too

bullit 1st November 2006 20:29

i would have said change the front lights to standard. lovely intercooler

Predator_R32 1st November 2006 20:42
