Dump Valve
 

Can you put a dump valve on a Saxo 1.6 VTR?

Will it work making the pshhhhhhh sound lol?

you can fit one though it will make no noise, click on FAQ at the top, then saxo FAG there is an artical there about them

dump valve works with turbo engines as they are actually there to remove un-used compressed air to overcome turbo lag.... the pssssshhhhhh sound it makes later came popular :drink:

i hate to say it but you can buy a speaker that fits under your bonnet that makes that sound when you put your clutch down, very tacky imo

Yeah a normal dump valve will do nothing, though you can buy fake ones that make the popular pttttsssshhh sound. Just wait until you have a turbo imo.

Been asked a few times latley, does make me laugh how little some people know

if you were a nob though you could plumb it into your breather on teh rocker and block teh rest off, then when the pressure builts up it might make a quiet noise. but that would be gay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
