LOL, my alarm fob sets of the neighbours doorbell!

My neighbour has been worrying about his doorbell going off randomly during the day/night.

He couldn't work out why, it was going off at 5h30 am every morning last week, then it goes off every time my saxo came in or out...

The remote start button is ring th neighbours doorbell button, whether in bed at 5am, or outside during the day!

He finds it well funny too LOL

Mike

Another flaw then...

Danr 28th December 2006 22:10

I'd so set your car on fire in the night if my doorbell kept going off lol.

Luke 28th December 2006 22:10

Haha, I'd be getting highly pissed off if I was your neighbour.

Yeah :( this is a good one though. I like that neighbour. If it weere the twat that moans about the cars, it would be far better. Set alarm clock for 2am, press doorbell button, everyones happy :)

DevilDamo 28th December 2006 22:14

That is EXACTLY what he said, he bought the unit outside and tried, but no luck, which I was surprised at - thought clifford would have cocked that up too

;)

Luke 28th December 2006 22:18

Wouldn't surprise me with Clifford to be honest Mike.

Yates 28th December 2006 22:18

i would of got a new doorbell or a door knocker if mine kept going off

Smithy 28th December 2006 22:34

Sounds about right. My microwave oven sets my clifford off

R4T 28th December 2006 23:53

it would be funny to see a doorbell unlock your car and start your car for you,now that is technology!! any explanation to why it does this?

Charlie_sax 29th December 2006 01:11

Riggsy's alarm on the vts he had used to get set off when the micro wave was tunred on wtf lol

adamsax 29th December 2006 01:14

Haha, that's ace Mike!

Only engine bay to sort out now (off topic I know)

vtrchris64 29th December 2006 01:23

my mate who owns a 206 can set off alarms on other 206's, found it quite in the car park lol

MikeCracknell 29th December 2006 06:28

Ads can set of ANYONES alarm with Damo's exhaust - only needs to rev it to 2k revs then alarms everywhere go off lol

:err: :err:

Chris_Ward_vtr 29th December 2006 08:18

My mums keyfob sets off our doorbell to, we've replaced it now though. Think the door bell was just set on the same/similar frequency as the one the keyfob sent out.

Lee_P 29th December 2006 08:25

this is well funny i you all have dodgy alarms lol (im joking) i bet he thought he had very punctual kids playing knock door run at the same times each day

Lee_P 29th December 2006 08:25
