Green Air filter

I just paid 3000 quid 4 may 52 plate 1.1i saxo desire and whacked a green induction kit on it. Sounds good so whats the next thing bearing in mind that it has no alloys or exhuast system lol

An exhaust or back box would be next or lowering. Not sure why you have titled your thread 'green air filter' though?

wh have you went from an xr2 to a 1.1? can younot get insured on an 'r' or 's'?

joshie87 2nd February 2007 13:46

I had an accident which was my fualt and lost my no claims so i cnt afford to insure a vtr this year

A Back box would be the next step, wouldnt really look to gain any performance from such a small cc engine, although the slightly better breathin of the engine may release a few pony's but wouldnt bank on it too much.

In the case of Alloys or Exhaust - More your choice mate really either drive with a set of alloys and a pee shooter or a noisey exhaust and steelies

I don't think you'd gain much from just a back box but it certainly improves the sound. A full system would be better but perhaps better to save the money for a faster car when insurance comes down

paul_vtr666 3rd February 2007 18:22

I would just save the money for when your insurance comes down, no point with a 1.1
