what is tweeter attenuation i will be amping my bostons s50's thuesday so what tweeter attenuation do i need to set the crossover at? and whats the best way to setup an amp do i leave all the eq settings on the HU at 0 any one got any other tips for setting amps up?

tbh mate i just put the sound on a nice listening level then mess with the settings on the amp and headunit, its your ears and only you know whats right for you :y:

yeah atm im using my brothers relly shit amp and its hissing like fook when its low but think its just the amp should have mine thuesday so will find out but what about the tweeter attenuation what is it what should i have it set to 0db, -2db or -4db?

am not sure as my PGs only have 2 settings, and honestly i switch them and i can notice any difference lol

it is a built in thing in the crossover than cuts the tweeter level down if needed, so when its all installed and playing and you feel that maybe the tweeters are a bit bright and it sounds a bit bright you could adjust the level of the tweeter, tbh though unless you are very critical or actually notice things when replaying cd's (such as every detail in the track) then just keep them at 0
