vtskid 6th March 2007 19:50

bullit 6th March 2007 20:37

S34MER 7th March 2007 00:30

Raceland do a good one mate!!

Predator_R32 7th March 2007 00:31

raceland is ok but not as good as some out there, supersprint are meant to be good and i think the cit tuning one is too but thats really expensive

the raceland is about 120 in the group buy on kam racing :)

KamRacing 7th March 2007 08:29

Downside of the raceland is that you have to play with the oil filter and filter thread on the Mk2.

On the plus side they do give performance gains throughtout the rev range and are very cost effective.

Im just about to goto your website kam and purchase one of these racelands are they definately going to be some gains its a mk2 vts by the way and also will it fit a mk2 vts without having to fiddle with things thanks

you have to change a couple of things... u need a mk1 filter an thread. hardly a big job but a bit of a pain in the arse...

Karl 7th March 2007 10:07

yeah; still hassle though.

Someone had told me, you didnt need to move anything with the Raceland Manifold?

not a big hassle.

You don't need to move anything.. just replace that oil filter and thread.

Some people spent loads of money on relocating the oil filter elsewhere in the engine bay but thats not needed.

Ste 7th March 2007 15:54

When you say replace oil filter and thread..

What do ya mean by thread? Sorry to be a pain!

VTS_16v_Boy 7th March 2007 16:00

In the 4-2-1 setup you got quite a choice really

Sportex - Mild Steel - £130
RaceLand - Stanless Steel - £140
Janspeed - Mild Steel - £200
Miltek - Stainless Steel - £not sure
Cituning - Stainless Steel - £not sure
SuperSprint - Stainless Steel - £299

Prices are ruff but around that kinda money and are fuffly in order of price.

If you changed to 4-1 then your limited to

GMC £250
Piper £290

again not 100% sure but around them kinda prices

I had a Janspeed item but cracked it on a Massive Speed bump so Ive got a Piper item waiting in the bedroom to be fitted

its the bit that the filter screws into...

Predator_R32 7th March 2007 16:10

so you would have to drill a new hole and re tap it???

Ste 7th March 2007 16:24

sounds a bit of big job to me?

Dan 7th March 2007 19:27

I would go for gmc or supersprint mate. I paid £260 for my supersprint one.

vtskid 8th March 2007 18:55

cheers for the input chaps, most helpfull.
