his name has vts in it

riggsy 7th March 2007 14:41

So, could be for some one else? His last name might be vts :)

Burnout_vts 7th March 2007 14:41

the problem is, what happens with the second lambda? will the engine light be on?

hesslevtr 7th March 2007 14:42

yes you need a sleeve for it

gmc sell these

riggsy 7th March 2007 14:43

Could buy a sleeve for it, i have one on the way for mine, you just screw it in and tie it up, this should stop the light from coming on :)

If you dont want a sleeve just tie it up out the way, but yes your light will be on!

Burnout_vts 7th March 2007 14:55

will i lose performance if the engine light is on because of lambda

lmao

Have you had a look under the car?

Predator_R32 7th March 2007 16:16

think the nuts come off easier when the engine is hot as it will expand and be easier to undo

either warm the engine up or use a blow torch, id rather run the engine though :y:

no mate, not if your putting a stainless steel manifold on. if your not and your just taking your cat out then yes unless you bung up the hole where the second lambda sensor comes from

riggsy 7th March 2007 16:24

I have a gmc 4-1 manifold and there is no hole in that to put this sensor there fore the light is on untill i get my sleeve.
