Enjoy mate.
im sure its the rally this weekend. cos my teamleaders gone with the local rally team. |
i wish i was going back. we were there the other week and i loved it. it was my first time there, but i'll definatley go back again.
its such a relaxed atmosphere, and the pubs are ace. temple bar had to be the highlight! are you going to the guiness factory? i'd expect a party atmosphere there! we saw a brand new 5 series bmw pull out at a junction, and nearly get cleaned up by a tram! literally, there must have been inches in it. i'm sure the tram driver was very pissed off! have a good one anyway mate |
Went to Dublin in Feb for a long weekend, stayed in Temple Bar it was wicked.
Chris, drink loads and have a brill time mate!! Also you have to try a "baby guniess" :drink: |
Doesn't seem two minutes ago since you went last mate. Can't believe a year has flown by...
I think I am going out in Leeds on Saturday night to celebrate it with a few guys from work. |
Hi All,
Got back on Sunday (only just) The weekend was awesome as expected. Spent too much, Drunk too much, ate too much. Felt like poo every morning after my 3 hour kip before breakfast, then straight after breakfast we was back out on the lash again. I think I've put on about 1/2 a stone in weight. Still feel rough today! The women there were lovely, but I was a good boy as I had my gf waiting at home for me. I'm suprised we didn't get chucked out of any of the pubs/bars as we weren't the quietest bunch of lads!! We all dressed up like Tw@ts on the Saturday including my mate walking round all day with a Bo Selecta Craig David mask on... LOL he had to drink his beer through a straw. The journey home was f**king scary though..... when we was coming in to land at Stansted the Pilot flew us straight in to the middle of the blackest cloud you've ever seen... it was chucking it down with rain and the turbulance was mental... then we started seeing flashes of light out side the window.... next thing there was a hugh BANG and all the lights went of and all our stomachs ended up on the seeing it felt like. The lights eventually came back on, then the engines got powered up and we started to climb again. The pilot then announced the following: - "Sorry Ladies and Gentlemen, but our landing time is going to be delayed as we have got to have another attempt at it.... you may have heard a loud bang a few moments ago... THAT WAS THE PLANE BEING STRUCK BY LIGHTENING... we then fell a few 100 metres from power failure!". I'll go so far as to say that is the most scared I have ever felt in my life. We all cheered when we eventually touched down on the tarmac (45 mins late). Anyway... I'm glad I'm still alive to tell the tale. Chris :) |
Chris im so pleased your ok.....sax-p just wouldn't be the same!
|
Cheers Mate! :y:
