Took these whilst on holiday late last year with the rents.

Rather impressive for me, IMO:

What do you guys think?

Dan 8th April 2007 01:16

Really good pics mate, how much did the 30d cost?

MarkyG 8th April 2007 01:19

cant remember now, not had it long though.

I also own another camera that i bought a new lense for (£600!!) and a new digital zoom lense from singapore for £700. expensive but defintely worth it.

MarkyG 8th April 2007 01:20

have got a lot more pics than this, but these are my favourite ones from my whole collection from last years holiday. It's taken me two hours to sort through them

Ryan 8th April 2007 03:01

30D plus kit lens is about £850.

my 30D rocks when its not broken

MarkyG 8th April 2007 08:16

i dont have a standard lens for my 30D mine is another one from singapore costing roughly £550, thats just the lense alone

DaveG 8th April 2007 19:19

So what you're saying is you have some expensive lenses then? what are they?

as for the pics, none of them were taken with a 30D but I will tell you what I think:

can't see 1st one

2nd one is a sunset through some trees

3rd one is of some lillies in a pond

4th one is of some Wildebeest looking at you

5th one is of a Lion looking pissed because someone is shining a fuck off spotlight at him

6th one is of a waterfall

:)

Not bad for a Fujifilm Finepix S5000, 1st pic 1/388 second, f3,2 ISO of 200, taken on 02/10/2006 at 17h18!!!

TU-Tuning 8th April 2007 21:22

MarkyG 8th April 2007 22:38

sorry, they must have been from my old S5000 then, got all my photos all in one folder.

1. Aspect ratio is all wrong

2. Too noisy for a 30D

!

MarkyG 9th April 2007 07:49

MikeCracknell 9th April 2007 10:33
