Fabric dyes for seats
i am possibly thinking about getting some buckets, i noticed the otherday when fitting my bros interior that the rear bench can have the fabric unzipped and taken off it. i was just wondering if this is the case would you then be able to use a fabric dye on it to make it all black, or would it look shite.
has anyone done something like this before. advice please :) |
you one about putting it in the washing macjine to do this??
|
i dont know at the moment mate, just getting ideas
would something like this work clicky or will it look rubbish, i just want plain black seats to match buckets but dont really wanna retrim them or have to payout for a gti rear bench |
i think it works altho it may come off, apparently it takes alot to turn them to the colour they are meant to be, what about getting a plain black rear seat cover?

my brother had seat covers on his and they dont ever look that good, are there any plain black rear bench seats or is the mk2 vtr one with silver squares the nearest available to fit a saxo, any plain black 106 seats out there
|
can you not get one from the scrappy and test on it
should work but you may have to do it a few times before it looks good |
yeah may do buddy :)

i used a spray on dye on some faded seats and it worked brilliantly.
the seats were originally black and had faded to a light grey in places but the material was in good condition. now they look like new. you cant even tell that they have been dyed. not sure how well it will work on seats that arent originally black though. |
