torsion bar advise needed
 
hi ive tried to lower my saxo, but i cant undo the T40 screw/bolt on the right hand side to the tornsion bar out on the left hand side, any suggestions would be great. the break cable bracket is in the way aswell and i cant move it outa the way?!?!?

bit confusing but i think you mean the bolt on the opposite side which is difficult to get to. i used a torx bit but used a spanner to turn it as there was little room to move. the problem you may find is the torx40 bit maybe 6.5mm so difficult to find a spanner that size - i used a 10mm torx40 bit and a 10mm spanner and that done the trick!!!

spray them with wd40 leave for 30mins, use a bit of bar and hit the screw/bolt square and straight a few times, spray more wd40 on it, leave for 10mins and then try ;)

try to tighten slightly 1st, then loosen (anti-clockwise) ;) lol
