powerflex bushes

hey guys n girls just a few questions.
powerflex bushes, anyone who has fitted them do they make a difference?
are they easy to put in?
and should i do the arb strait away or can i leave it for now?
also do the powerflex rear beam bushes make any difference?
any help would be mucho appreciated:y:

Ryan 29th May 2007 23:17

dannygti 29th May 2007 23:19

also Itsafastworld85 do you know what rear beam type i would need
1998 gti
would i need?

Rear Beam Mount - 31mm Housing 10mm Bolt or
Rear Beam Mount - 33,5mm Housing 12mm Bolt (Alternative Mount, Late Type)

sorry i just thought id pick you brains cause you seem a knoledgeable person (sp)

dannygti 29th May 2007 23:30

also could i do the rear bushes myself?

Ryan 29th May 2007 23:35

off the top of my head yours would be the later type, although id ring up and ask as i cant remeber 100%

also rear beam bushes are easy to do if you can get the beam off ok

williamsvts 30th May 2007 10:04

they come off easy. just whack a screwdriver in to snap the plastic.

l1ukeRS 30th May 2007 11:53

you can knock them out with a extension bar and a socket head

ryhornvtr 31st May 2007 21:54

Yes they are good. Nothing wrong with powerflex either. They firm up the suspension quite nicely.
