Predator_R32 4th July 2007 00:05

wouldnt bother mate, audiobahn imo arent very good, they have spent so much money into them looking good instead of quality, much better ones out there tbh

RedB 4th July 2007 00:18

^^ as above :p

Much better out there, iv got Vibe in the past and wouldnt exactly reccomend them now but keep looking for other baragins

cal1892 4th July 2007 00:18

watd u suggest pred ?
i was actually awaiting ur comment lol.
i dont want to just pay for front speakers though and i have 2 audiobahn subs in the boot and audiobahn door speakers altho these are the ones im looking to upgrade as i beleive them to be water damaged,
watd u suggest i get pred ?

p.s i picked up a vibe black box amp the other day cheap off a mate i obv need components that can run on this, if not then ill have to sell it and get a new amp lol. had a longmill 600w amp running front speakers and subs but well my amp went on fire lol

DaveWard 4th July 2007 00:30

Getting 3 way comps in the front of a saxo is a lot of work. Its only been done a handfull of times so far in the UK. If I was to do it again I would just go for normal 2 ways. I would not touch Audiobahn either. Look towards DLS, Focal, Boston etc.

Predator_R32 4th July 2007 00:39

as dave said the likes of, bostons, DLS, Focal, Rainbow, Hertz

id go for some hertz ones if i was you, someone has them on FSC and he said there awesome speakers

cal1892 4th July 2007 00:44

my mate has focal speakers in his 106 and sound sweet, u think i could get a set of these for same sorta budget ??

Predator_R32 4th July 2007 00:47

how much do you want to spend on just the components exactly??

cal1892 4th July 2007 00:48

can u guys suggest me a comp set, seen some nice hertz ones think ill be getting the fibreglass out soon n makin some builds lol

Predator_R32 4th July 2007 00:49

budget??

Size??

have you got an amp yet for them??

cal1892 4th July 2007 02:39

got a vibe black box 1 2ch amp at moment
budget of say £150 ish and i want a half decent size basically i have door speakers in just now but they just started to work properly when my amp went, the thing was ancient, so picked up a black box off my mate, 400-600w i think
so was thinkn could run front speakers off that, and then once i had my components get another amp to run them and my subs,
basically the back door cards are going to be modded to fit the speakers in, i think, not decided whether to do some sort of fibreglass thing to mount em in the back or mount them in the boot with the subs, so size aint really an issue, but wat i liked about the audiobahn set at the start of the thread was there were 2 sets of speakers and then tweeters, so for that i thought bargain,
