103% booked!
 

Thought id post this in here to get it more noticed!!

I have just spoken to the night porter at the Main Sax-P Hotel Leicester Oadby.....and acording to him..... the Hotel is 103% booked.....meaning overbooked!

Hotels do this to make sure all their rooms are filled.... hoping on at least a few cancellations.... Just be warned that if everybody who is booked at the main sax-p one turns up.... some of you may get "shunted" down the road to another hotel!!!

All hotels do this to maximise revenue.... its wrong...... but on average 9 times outa 10 it works,
hotel full = managment happy and guests happy....
but on the odd occasion when everybody who is booked in turns up....
that equals unhappy guests etc

Good luck anyways, If you phone the hotel..... its a dead cert they will say that the hotel isnt overbooked and everything is fine.... ive worked in enough hotels to tell ya that they are bullshitting!!!!

lol they will have a fight on there hands with the saxp lot :P

make sure you get their early then for our room :p

its gonna be a first come first served thing!!! they do this hoping that there will be cancellations, may work out ok.... ????????

Depends i guess on if people said they were going, then back down last minute. And then they give there room to someone else, so its kinda your own loss really.

well im at willsys a few days before so we'll pop to the hotel and slap them around until they guarantee our room...

also every year at every show the sax-p main hotel fills up and (touch wood) have never had any problems

If they dont give me my room i will go buy a sleepign bag and sleep in the reception, im sure that will piss them off. I will be pissed and naked.

Sayer won't turn up, he'll say he's been working all night and fall asleep when we all know he's been bashing one off all night :)

she could of joined into be fair she was alright.

she would of got it but i with my special guy at the time so she probly would of felt abit left out
