Interior paint and light conversion..
Been busy with the interior, Painted the centre console, gearbox surround and ashtray etc in moondust silver, the original color was grey...
Opinions please, is it too bright? ![]() WHat do you think of the blue lighting, originally orange! |
The silver is abit bright for me, i'd have gone with a darker grey. I like the lighting. How is everyone getting around the problem with the ciggy lighter colour (ie the surround is green on the sax)
|
Its just a buld change pal, tricky and fiddly...need plenty of patience but you just order the kit off t-bay...
I am going to tone it down a little, more of a grey again. |
love the lighting think that i would prefer a graphite grey.
|
Ye, i'll have a look then, (link if anybody has one?).

silver looks good. never though about white bulbs ? dunno how it would look ? |
Much more classy
|
yeah mate bit in your face if you ask me, the dial bulbs am not sure, get some better pics of them :y:
Rover Charcoal Grey is the one you want :p ![]() ![]() |
I used a gunmetal in my astra bit like preds above, it wasnt in your face but clearly stood out, and made the interior look 100% better.
Did the blue light conversion like you too. much nicer than orange |
like it gives a nice contrast to the black dash. the blue lightning defo looks better than the orange in the standard astra and corsa's :y: personally I wouldn't go darker.
|
i like it mate but... its a corsa.. isnt it?
