Don't it really get on your tits when you apply for a job, give it your best and you don't get it. Gives you a proper "im retarded" feeling.

Got my mum and my missus nagging me 24/7 to get a job, but i'm not now i've just decided, im going to be a unpaid retard for the rest of my life lol.

nah i really don't know, i've wanted to do my own web-design business for ages (www.joshcraddock.com) but i just can't be arsed and ain't got that self motivation to do it.

All i can say is tweek your CV for every single job you apply for.

Just getyour name out there, even if you just temp for a while.;)

My mum did my CV, it's when they look at my GCSE's and that.

The jobs i've applied for don't exactly need those though..

When you get knocked down - get back up again! when you dont get the job, ask for reasons why - which will help you improve interview techniques etc an will identify weaknesses - which you can work on e.g brush your teath lol!

I know it gets you down but just keep applying. im currently doing a work placement for my uni degree and i had to apply to about 14 places before i even got taken seriously...then you get phone interviews and proper face to face interviews..can take ages!

But i would say just keep applying for jobs and dont give up :y:

I found it really hard to find a job, and now i have one, i keep getting phonecalls from places i sent applications or cv's into saying we would like you to come for an interview, and im like no thanks, ive already got one

just dont give up, i didnt and now i enjoy my job :)

I think what i'll do is apply for loads of jobs as you all said and just get my site finished as a fall back.

If youve got shite cvs dont mention them for example put '3 GCSEs c and higher.'
If easy to fiddle with it, youve got to sell your self. And yeh ask for interview feedback everytime.:y:

i know how you feel, i get rejected from every job i apply for. and all i want is a part time job at the co-op or something while im at college but they all turn me down. makes me feel like an idiot when you see some of the spacks that work at the co-op n i cant get a job there

Jobless and bored :p goes to sleep at 4 in the morning, gets up at 3 in the evening, then apply for few more jobs. and this weather aint helping either :( 2 interviews. always we will let you know. hopefully i will get a call tomorrow, they said friday is the day they will call. :(

wouldn't know tbh, only applied for two jobs and got them both, however quit the first after 2 days due to working for silly pay
