yeah you could go with the amp and floor stands. the thing is the 'biwiring' of the speakers (as its got a subs intergrated into them). but you can wire them up in the same way until decide to go further with the system... this might help clarify a few things

you've then got the ability to buy specific rear speakers and a centre when the time comes
