It has been mad tonight at work mate lol, completely sidetracked.

Well as far as pictures go its not really been worth taking any yet to be fair, as an update it goes like this:

We've spent a few hours so far firstly degreasing most of the engine bay as there was a large build up of muck, grime and oil over time, especially at the bottom of the engine bay.

This came off really easily, then we attacked the rusty parts of the bay where attention was needed, for the age of the car its done quite well however there was plenty of bits that i wasnt keen on.

They've since been blasted over with the dremmel and the kurust rust treatment has been applied.

Im going over there again tomorrow to continue and armed with a few scouring pads rub all over the engine bay to remove any remaining looseness and roughen the other surface top to give the paint a good surface to stick to.

Wednesday ill be eagerly awaiting a package from Aid (The greatest Saxo breaker in the land and hero to the masses - blushing again yet Aid?) which contains the chassis leg with the ECU mount bit that i need- this needs to be cut out and welded onto my chassis.

Then Thursday/Friday will be a paint fest- loads of pics to come then!

And Saturday onwards the new engine will be slotting in
