Much better with a flat surface straight across, literally took 5 minutes to slim them down.

Clearance is fine with all the parts too, the camshafts dont pertrude above the head itself and so theres no likely issue as they dont lift up into the internal cam cover space.

Headbolts are fine to use standard ones too, an extra washer is sufficient to use so they dont bottom out.

The bowing was the biggest concern to me, if thats a common problem across the board the more people should probably get theirs checked if they are removing their cam covers and/or they have a leak
