Amino's basically help the recovery of your muscles, and assist in building new muscle.

Whey proteins have amino acid profiles, and typically if you're consuming a good amount of protein you'll be getting a good amount of amino acids in you too.

Few of my mates have supplemented them and said they didn't feel as sore the next couple of days. They aren't anything anabolic and won't add any mass as such but they're a useful thing to take.
