Im with you completely that low is the way to go!
Just have it they way you want, but like you said, the lower you go the more trouble it causes, but anything can be fixed.
After alot of bother I finally got mine to sit level at the back, (have to get pics up though) the front arch sits over the tyre, but I ruined driveshafts and my powersteering burst twice but since then i bought a brand new driveshaft which holds 100% and I got my powersteering pipes relocated, so everythings fine now and I havent hand any bother whatsoever since.
All im trying to say is that it can be done!! And if thats the way you want it, go for it!
