you can seperate the glass cos i dit it with my old saxo and painted the bits that werent the reflectors black. but cant remember for the life of me how i managed it

. but think it took a lot of gentle persuasion so i didnt crack the lense and sealed it back up with silicon or some black bonding stuff like tiger seal but cant remember wich one.

sorry cant be a bit more helpful but it can be done. just do it slowly
