Pahhh, you know forest rallying is where it really lies at . Nah, as long as your happy and get the fun factor from it thats all that counts and im sure you bloody are lol! How often does the engine need building roughly? As the cars I have been in, in the past and sometimes help in the service areas need rebuilds after every competitive year. The bills usually come in at around 22k too..eeek...but were talking about WR1 spec focus's here lol.

Looks a very tidy car though, rough round the edges but that's how rally cars are meant to look. As you say, its quick....seems to perform really well for a 1.6 to say the least!!

The engine never needs to be rebuilt just very well looked after ie oil change every 2 events etc etc....costs a fair bit to run and maintain, the last rally i did it was 48 stage miles and i used £35 of fuel lol

Yeh very high strung engines as in WRC cars and S1600's are costly to rebuild and require it often!!

The 205 is looking very rough around the edges at the mo more then most rally cars possibly, after all its dones around 30 rallies now...

Its very well sorted for a 1600, i only bought it from its history not its condition, the previous owner developed it over 2 years and rallied it over that time and got a serious amount of sponsors, then was given an evo 9 to drive for a rally and now getting a brand new fiesta st challenge car paid for by his main sponsor!!

So it proves the car is very capable (even ive proved that already) 1st in class in the event just gone!!
