Default LVC's VTR update 12/09/09 MOT and interior goldified

right ive been on this sight too long now not to have a progress thread so here it is

i passed my test on april 25th 2007 and then spent any spare time from college hunting for a gold furio as i had seen one around norwich and had to have one.

well things got difficult and i couldnt really find one that was either any good or had not been kaned . so i did an insurance quote on a VTR and surprisingly i got one for 1600 fully comp so the search widened and i fianlly found a gold VTR with full service history completely standard owned by a middle aged mechanic in newark get in

it looked like this

then it stayed like this as it was my only first year at college so i spend all my hard earned cash on and my insrunce sadly i also had the fastest car at college till some rich twat got given a focus ST

then for my 18th i got my private plate S28 LVC and a pair of smoked rear jewles (i dont have any original pics as i had'nt heard of sax-p till a year later ) the only pics i do have are when this tractor parked next to me lol

then my second year at college the sax stayed the same as i spend even more money on and insurance.

so now we get to the good bits if your still reading this lol i left college and got a job as a trainee accountant dull i know but it pays well, so i started spending money on saxing up the sax
first thing i did was to get these cool mats

then i joined sax-p and did this

i still havent been spotted yet

then i bought these alloys as i saw them on a VTS in crete (greece) and had to ask the guy what they were as i loved them. They are SSW Nirvanas 16's! wrapped in toyo proxes

after buying the alloys i had to get it lowered by -40mm on spax suspension kit

so here are some before and after pics

then i started faffing about with the ice. luckily my step dad had a pair of genesis front speakers, kinetic comps and an alpine HU so he gave them to me free of charge and helped me fit them what a hero!

then xmas 2008 came and i had no money to spend on the saxo so it had to wait

then i got some more cash in january and started to change the exterior by fitting angels, smoking the fogs, removing the rear wiper and a fitting dimma grill!! thanks to sax-p i managed to do these all myself

thats how it stayed till about the start of april 2009 when i got bored of the dimma grill being black and wanted to spray it gold so it blended in with the car.
so i took a trip to halfrauds to get a couple of tinnies to do the job and it turned out like this

not bad for £20 imo

then the joys of owning a saxo kicked in and the central locking fucked up so as i had always wanted a cat 1 alarm i did some research and found that i wanted a clifford 650 mkII.
so having looked around in East Anglia the cheapest they could do one for was £450 this is where sax-p comes in again i found out that reevesy_vtr does them for alot less.
so a couple of weeks ago it meant a trip down to essex whith my mate to get reevesy to fit me one, i would recommend him to anyone hes a top guy and knows exactly what hes on about
here are some pics

and thats how she stands for the moment
future plans:
are to get the thrust bearing fixed and the knocking when turning (done)
magnex cat back (coming soon keep your eyes peeled)
206 gti brakes (got a fast road kit instead as no longer going on a track)
106 gti leather
and maybe 2 10" subs with an amp (not sure as i like fishing and i would have nowhere to put my gear if i did this)

all comments and suggestions welcome

thanks lloyd
