Default Piper 4-1 on a 16v

I want some advice on manifolds on 16v's

Now.

On my VTR I had a Miltek Sports Cat Stainless manifold and with it I made 102hp and 113lb/ft torque. I then changed to a Piper 4-1 Stainless manifold and I made 111hp and 119lb/ft torque.

The pickup from 4,500rpm was like a 16v and made for a quick VTR.

Now I hear people say 4-2-1's are better than 4-1's but I think it's personal preference.

I never felt my VTR with the 4-1 was sluggish in the low revs, If anything it made it feel more torquey at 3,000rpm.

What difference would I see with a Piper 4-1 over say a Raceland 4-2-1.

Has anyone got a Piper 4-1 on their 16v and what's their opinion.

And before any mod says. Yes I know there is a FAQ but I want opinions off different people and not just one moderator that has made a guide and a sticky.

Thanks,
Aly
