Default PAS, Heater fan , Rear demister Repair, with picture big guide in detail

Right finally fixed my problem, as I no some guys down the citroen garage and they told me what to do if I didn’t have the money to get a new barrel.

If after this guide you still dont want to try this i dont mind doing it if you live near me for a small fee and i can buy all the bits you need doesn take long at all.

Ok if all three of the above have stopped working this is what you do.

Remove the steering column cover (held on by two torx) and under the steering column is a light brown plastic connector with 2 red wires going in the right side and two brown wires coming out the left side.

Unplug the connector cut the two red wires (3/4 inches above connector) and remove as shown in the picture below.

Then you will have to strip the wirers back about a 1-cm / 10mm again shown in picture below.

Then you will need to buy this connector don’t know the term or name for this but has a rubber outer and a metal inner it needs to be big enough to host wire thickness (see picture below)

Take rubber part off then slide metal piece over one side of wire see picture below

Then put rubber over other end and connect together again shown below ☺

Then simply plug back in and enjoy your new car
