Hi guys. I'm trying to do this the "easy" way - by dropping the steering column to get at the dash screws, rather than dismantling the airbag. I've got stuck trying to get the panel off to get at the steering column bolts. It won't move because of the wires underneath it - I've undone the main 3, but the airbag wire is still in the way:

That male connector comes out, but the female is attached to the plastic panel and won't budge. The wire's really tight, and the other end is firmly in the back of the steering wheel and also won't budge:

What to do now? Does one of these ends come loose, and if so, how?
